This is an Oak Coat Rack that we created from the upper section of a Mid 1800s Oak Pump Organ that was beyond saving. There are 6 hooks for coats/jackets, mirror, 2 shelves and a storage .area under the sheet music rest.

A huge Japanese hand painted screen you may have seen near the desk (photo above). It is in three parts that are three panels each. They are 103” tall and each panel is 18”, so if put all together would measure 162” (though there needs to be some bend in them for them to stand up on their own). The background is silver and the painting has herons and irises with water lilies and tree branches overhanging. They’re gorgeous and would be lovely in a high-ceilinged room. |

Washington Jacquard Tablecloth Measuring 64” square, the center has shield-breasted eagles and there are portraits of Washington, after a painting by Gilbert Stuart, in the corners with scenes of Native Americans and early settlers in between. It’s possible this is a Centennial piece (1876), as there was resurgence of interest in Washington at about that time. Clearly this was made on a jacquard loom given the mirror images on the piece. |
