December 2023

December 1, 2023

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . . We must be VERY late since Costco had their Christmas merchandise out in August!

This month rather than featuring a recent acquisition, Bob wants to highlight some work he did on his Model T truck, specifically on the gas, oil, and water containers that are on the running board in case there’s a need for one of these fluids between service stations. Before and after photos of these Boyco containers are below. When (if?) Bob plans to have the truck at the store, we’ll post it on our website and Facebook page—in case anyone cares to see it in person.

We have a change to our payment policy effective today. If you pay with credit card, there will be a 3.5% service charge. This is what the credit card companies charge us and we can’t afford to absorb it any longer. We’re also happy to accept payment via cash or check.

On a more positive note, we’ll be closed on December 25th for Christmas and January 1st for New Year’s Day. The next newsletter should be sent on January 2, 2024.

We hope you have a wonderful holiday season with familly and friends! Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year!
