Did you see the article about the store in The Washington Post a couple weeks ago? If not, you can find it at https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/a-hard-charging-decorated-and-retired-marine-finds-new-reward-in-the-antique-restoration-business/2017/10/13/4c9bd46a-a955-11e7-92d1-58c702d2d975_story.html?utm_term=.c4cb3b28b05e. What a great article!
Now that we’re done bragging, please see the photos below of a child’s chair that’s now available. We love posting before & after photos like these on our Facebook page! If you’re looking for our Recent Acquisitions, the best place to look is on that tab at our website at Recent Acquisitions, which is updated every month.
There are a couple local events we want to highlight. Great Country Farms is having their annual Pumpkin Chunkin the 4th-7th. Enjoy smashing your old jack o’lantern at the Silo Drop, the Zip Wire Sploosh or the 40-foot Pumpkin Drop Zone. The biggest splat of all is the Lucky Duck Giant Pumpkin Drop to benefit Boulder Crest Retreat. On Veteran’s Day, the 11th, Bluemont Vineyard will host Corn Hole for a Cause; this tournament that will also benefit Boulder Crest is limited to 32 teams, so get your team together soon. If Corn Hole isn’t for you, perhaps Boulder Crest’s Off the Beaten Path Yoga Hike is more your style; see their website at http://www.bouldercrestretreat.org/eventschedule/ for details.
It’s hard to believe the holidays are almost upon us! We will be closed on the 23rd and 24th for Thanksgiving.
