Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed the holidays and the surprisingly warm weather—while it lasts . . .

This month’s featured item is an art deco bar restored for a restaurant that will soon be opening in Luray, VA. Before and after photos are below.

We may be getting carried away with photos, but love the details below on the finished piece.

Now we just need to wait until the Watch and Warrant (https://watchwarrant.com/) opens! We think that will be in February.

As mentioned in our newsletter last month, we’re shifting to winter hours now, so the store will close at 5 p.m. If you need to come by later than that, please call first to ensure someone can stay to meet you.

Looking for things to do in the area? The Winchester Area SPCA is celebrating National Cuddle Up Day on the 6th with $23 pet adoptions. There’s a reptile show at the Loudoun County Community Center in Purcellville at noon on the 14th; it’s free, but email LVCC@loudoun.gov to reserve a spot. Continuing the animal theme, the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center in Boyce is open daily from 10 until 4 for self-guided tours of the Wildlife Walk; if you’ve not been, this is a great chance to see how local wildlife is being rehabilitated and released, when possible.

We hope you’ll come by when you’re in the area and see what we have for sale as well as what’s being repaired. Wishing everyone a wonderful 2023!
