October 1, 2024
We want to thank you for your support of our retail business (i.e.,the store) over the almost 18 years that we’ve owned it and assure you that our repair and restoration business is continuing. We’re in the same building as the store was, but rather than having an entrance that faces the street, the doors are on the side of the building. Many of you have been in the workshops before, so won’t find anything surprising about the graphic below. In fact some of you may remember when we had our store in the Old Dance Hall, which is now used by Boulder Crest.
There’s a townwide tag sale in Purcellville on October 12th, so please keep us in mind if you pick up a piece of furniture or two there that needs some repairs. (The Purcellville Library is having their annual book sale on October 5th. While we don’t repair books, it’s always fun to shop for them!)
We anticipate keeping the same hours (10-6, Monday – Saturday), which makes it easy to stop by while you’re on your way to local attractions such as Great Country Farms, Bluemont Station Brewery & Winery, or any of the other great Loudoun Country agri-businesses. However, we do have some special hours for this month. Bob will be out of the office on October 1st & 2nd, which explains why you’re getting this newsletter early. (Hope it makes up for the times that it’s late!) We will be open on Monday, the 14th, even though it’s a Federal holiday, but closed on Saturday, the 19th as Bob will be demonstrating caning at Joshua’s Hands’ Fall Festival and Lynne will be dancing with the Celtic Rhythm School of Dance. See https://www.joshuashands.org/Joshuas_Hands/Fall_Festival.html for details and come out for a fun day in the country!
